GREG EVASON - Working with John M. Bennett

RUN EH TO THE MIRROR'S CORNER AND STEP POEM

chew the suit
on the parked stone
dripping from the clock
as the tide scrolls
across the field
of air's tipped off shoe
as the corn ran off
as the luggage
loomed beside
the stormy street
with some scrambled stones
and coins
and centipedes
and rats in my shoes
beside my feet
as the flag
breaks off
in wind
as the plaster suit
streams in the rain
