Darkness
A poorly lit room.
Lingering dimness.
Darkness is stretching
its hands—
a playground for
nightmarish memories.
I pour them
in an empty glass.
Darkness still winks
emanating a dim light
like a flint.
Darkness is a big black glass.
We just drink in its void,
waiting for rescue
from a flint that
skates the silky skin
of the somber night.
